What Is NLCO ?
NLCO stands for New Life Community Outreach.
New Life Community Outreach (NLCO) is a volunteer-led ministry located in the basement of SNC that provides practical care and support to neighbors in need through consistent weekly services.
Each Sunday, NLCO hosts Breakfast Church from 7–8AM, offering a hot meal and coffee for anyone in the community, followed by an optional worship time with Short North Church.
They also operate the NEW4U Men’s Clothing Closet, which provides free clothing, shoes, and hygiene items to help men prepare for employment, housing stability, and daily living needs.
In addition, NLCO offers a free health clinic on Sunday mornings (7–8AM every other Sunday) where guests can receive basic medical care, health screenings, and referrals at no cost. Located in the Short North Church parsonage.
NLCO exists to create a community of belonging where people are welcomed, cared for, and connected with both resources and relationships in a consistent and dignified environment.

All are welcome to stay for worship in the dining room from 8-8:45AM provided by Short North Church
