Our Ministries
Find your people.
Our Ministries are where connection happens and community grows.
SNC Groups meet monthly, making it easy to stay connected in real life.
Small Groups

Accessibility & Inclusion
The Accessibility & Inclusion Group at SNC is a new and growing space focused on building belonging, accessibility, and radical welcome for all people. This group is coming soon as we continue shaping ways our church can better reflect inclusion in every part of community life.
If you are interested in learning more or getting involved, contact Rev. Mimi Luebbers.

Community Clean-Up
Community Clean-Up at SNC is a simple way to care for our neighborhood and church grounds together. We meet on the third Sunday of each month after the 10am worship service and pick up trash and clean outdoor spaces until noon. All ages are welcome, and everything you need is provided.
All ages are welcome! Supplies provided.

SNC Kids
Our SNC Kids (birth – 5th grade) program offers engaging spiritual experiences and worship opportunities designed to deepen each child’s relationship with God.
We host events year-round including Faith & Arts Camp, Faith & Arts Mini Camp, SNC's Annual Easter Egg Hunt and a variety of community-mission based projects that are kids lead.

Social Justice
Social Justice at SNC is a space for learning, action, and community as we seek to live out our faith in practical ways.
We gather monthly in the SNC Gathering Space or online to talk, learn, and respond to the needs of our neighbors and community together. All are welcome to be part of the conversation and the work.

Soul Sisters
This group meets at different residential homes through Short North Church. It is an opportunity for women to meet once a month on the 3rd Tuesday at 6PM, and share life experiences, prayer and more. Must RSVP for meeting location.

Young Adults
Young Adults at SNC is a monthly gathering for ages 18+ focused on connection, conversation, and community.
Once a month, young adults come together in a relaxed and welcoming environment to build relationships and grow in faith together. You do not need to be a member of SNC at Ohio State to participate.
Help bring Love Alive to life through the way you serve.
Join A Team

Hospitality Team
Interested in greeting and welcoming church goers on Sundays?
Our hospitality team helps create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors, including greeting at the door and assisting with communion. We’re always looking for new volunteers to help make SNC feel like home from the moment people arrive.

Media & Tech Team
Learn how to support Sunday worship through media and technology, including running sound and lights in the booth, advancing onscreen slides, and operating cameras and the switcher for livestream broadcasts. Opportunities are available to help with setup, audio, lighting, projection, and recordings during worship services 1–2 Sundays per month, as well as weddings, funerals, and special services as needed.

SNC Baristas
Interested in helping make coffee and serve at the coffee bar in the SNC Gathering Space on Sundays?
Our barista team helps create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors by providing coffee and hospitality before and after worship.
We’re always looking for new volunteers!
These are the moments that build community.
Community Connections

AA Drummers
Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers. LGBT-Friendly AA Meetings.
We meet regularly on Saturdays from 8-9PM at the parsonage/ health clinic next to SNC.

Book Studies
SNC offers a variety of Book Studies throughout the year.
We encourage participants to read, reflect, and have real conversations around faith and life together. All are welcome, and each study offers something new to think about and grow from. Groups meet in-person or online.

Community Dinner
Community Dinner is a monthly gathering on the last Wednesday of every month, where all ages are welcome to come share a meal and build community together.
Each month features a different meal, so there is always something new. While RSVP is not required, it is helpful for planning food.
