Hannah's Bio

Rev. Hannah VanMeter is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church and serves as the campus pastor of Short North Church at Ohio State, an inclusive and affirming campus ministry in Columbus, Ohio. As a deacon, Hannah is passionate about bridging the church and the world, helping people discover where God's presence is already at work in their lives and how they are being called to join in. 

A graduate of Otterbein University and Wesley Theological Seminary, Hannah is especially passionate about creating spaces of belonging. Through authentic relationships, she seeks to help students connect more deeply with God, themselves, one another, and the communities they are a part of. Hannah is passionate about connecting faith with everyday life and helping people discover their belovedness, purpose, and calling. 

Hannah and her husband Max live in Hilliard, Ohio, with their three young boys and their Weimaraner, Blu. Motherhood has become one of the greatest joys of Hannah's life, giving her a front-row seat to the wonder of watching young people discover who they are, whose they are, and who God is calling them to become.
